The Adams County Democratic Party will be electing new leadership and other party positions in February.
While the party notes that “All Democrats are welcome,” its rules stipulate that only existing members of the Central Committee have votes.
Who are the members of the Central Committee?
The following registered Democrats residing within the County shall comprise the membership of the County Central Committee. The holding of multiple offices shall not entitle a member to more than one vote, excluding the use of proxies:
- All the precinct committee people
- Members of the County Executive Committee,
- The elected officers of the County Central Committee,
- Captains at large,
- Countywide elected officials and the Public Trustee,
- Members of the Colorado General Assembly,
- United States Senators and Representatives,
- Statewide elected officials,
- The District Attorney of the 17th Judicial District,
- Members of the Democratic National Committee,
- Elected members of the State Board of Education,
- Elected members of the Board of Regents,
- Elected State Party officers,
- Immediate Past Chair of the Party.

If your precinct does not currently have organizers, email chair@adamscountydems.org if interested in being appointed. The deadline to be appointed before Reorg is Dec. 31, 2024 at midnight.
If you are interested in running for a position, complete this form. The deadline is January 25, 2025.
Once the election slate is set, reach out and share your thoughts with your precinct organizers and other members of the Central Committee.
